Position Description:
• Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine
• Plan the appropriate machining operations and sequence by studying work orders, engineering drawings, sketches, or general instructions (Including the full understanding and interpretation of geometric dimensions and tolerances, GD&T) to fabricate or modify a wide range of parts, special tools, fixtures and devices from standard and special materials
• Utilize a CAD/CAM System to program the required machining operations, including zero and reference points, tool selection, offsets, compensation and feed/speeds
• Operate machine tools (both CNC & manual control) such as milling machines, lathes, and grinders to produce parts
• Utilize hand and bench tools to assemble, fit, align, and adjust parts
• Check work using precision measuring instruments (i.e. Calipers, Micrometers, etc.)
• Operate in a teaming environment and support the Whole System Business Model (WSBM) processes
• Promote & Support Health & Safety and General Housekeeping

Position Requirements:
• Journeymen's card in machining or equivalent years of experience preferred
• Must be willing and able to work in a team based environment
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills is required
• Must have solid personal computer skills, to include Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, & Word
• Experience with 3-axis setup is required, 4 & 5-axis setup and milling preferred
• Familiar with CNC programming in CAD/CAM systems required (FeatureCAM experience a plus)
• Direct experience with Fadals, Yama Seikis, and Bridgeport CNC machines a plus
• Experience with Fanuc Controls a plus
• Must have a valid State Driver's License and be able to travel when necessary
• Must be willing to work overtime and split shifts when required
• Must be able to obtain a certification for overhead crane and forklift
